Practicing Forgiveness

Even as good people, doing good things in the world, we can still get stuck holding on to pain, sorrow, guilt and feelings of regret. The flow of prana is disrupted and the healing of mind, body and spirit is thwarted. We will look at how the little things we hold on to can derail the big things we want to achieve in our lives. We’ll do breath work, body movement (Kundalini Yoga) and mantra/meditation as tools to facilitate the process. This workshop is designed to help guide us on the path of forgiveness, the first step toward self healing. Yogi Bhajan says: “One of the major steps on the Spiritual Path is forgiveness – in fact it is impossible not to go into a state of forgiveness and walk this path of Light!”

Finding Meaning in Your Life

“Man’s search for meaning and purpose is a fundamental question for people to ask themselves. Going on your own unique journey to discover the answer to this question can be a great experience. Money?…Well, that will follow.”

-(Author Unknown)

When we don’t recognize our innate will to find meaning in our lives, we become dull, frustrated and apathetic. It doesn’t matter if we are a high powered executive, artist, criminal, juvenile, drug abuser or whatever, with out that spark of a search for meaning, life has very little value. So often our young people don’t find or see the meaning in their lives and they act out through various demoting behaviors, the emptiness they feel inside as a result. They look at the adults around them who appear to have no meaning in their lives, and it scares them. We will be exploring this subject and include breath work, stories, body movement (Kundalini Yoga) and mantra/meditation as tools to facilitate the unfolding of our life’s purpose.
