Unplugged Play with Creative Kids Yoga

Celebrate the benefits of play – the old fashioned way!

Learn more about incorporating developmentally appropriate yoga/movement techniques seamlessly into everyday experiences. Current research shows that there is a direct link between fitness and intelligence, particularly in children under 18 and the elderly.

In this workshop you will experience and learn how to use some simple activities which are appropriate for kids of all ages and abilities. Included will be the Brain Dance, simple anatomy awareness, breathing techniques, a yoga story sequence and other movement activities. We will learn how to use the Yoga Dots® in creative ways to help children and adults explore their bodies in personal and general space.

Be prepared to harness your playful creative energy and to channel it into your life as teacher, parent, caregiver or healthcare provider.
